The annual NHRA U.S. Nationals will take place at Lucas Oil Indianapolis Raceway Park over Labor Day Weekend, from August 28 to September 2, 2024. This event, also known as the Big Go, is the most significant and most excellent drag racing event each year and serves as the final race for drivers to qualify for the NHRA Countdown to the Championship.

The Indiana Water Summit is an apolitical and inclusive annual forum that examines the complex interests and issues facing our water supply. It aligns with current legislative actions, providing a broad planning perspective and demonstrating the interdependency of water issues and the science behind the state of the waters. The 2024 Indiana Water Summit will be held August 21 & 22 at the Biltwell Event Center in Indianapolis.

Save the date for the NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series and the ARCA Menards Series doubleheader at Lucas Oil Indianapolis Raceway Park on Friday, July 19, 2024! The event will feature the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series TSport 200 and the ARCA Menards Series, marking NASCAR's return to IRP. This doubleheader will kick off a thrilling week of auto racing in Indianapolis, bringing NASCAR's three national touring series to the city. The NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series TSport 200 is also the opening race of the Trucks Playoffs, adding even more excitement to the night! Tickets for the NASCAR doubleheader at Lucas Oil Indianapolis Raceway Park are priced as follows: Reserved seat prices will be $45 each, while general admission tickets will be $35 each. Children 12 and under will receive a free general admission ticket when accompanied by a paying adult, and primitive camping is also free.

To celebrate the start of Brickyard Weekend and the 30th anniversary of the Brickyard 400, over 40 NASCAR haulers will parade down Main Street in Speedway in a family-friendly event with yard games, displays, a DJ, and race cars on display.
