In a thrilling update for motorsport enthusiasts, the 2024 Driven2SaveLives BC39 announces Avanti Windows & Doors as its presenting sponsor. This high-octane event is set to unfold from September 26–28 at the renowned Dirt Track at Indianapolis Motor Speedway, promising three unforgettable nights of racing action.
Regarded as a pinnacle competition within the USAC NOS Energy Drink Midget National Championship series, the Driven2SaveLives BC39 has rapidly ascended to must-watch status. This year marks the sixth edition, with the event’s victor clinching an impressive $20,039 prize. Competition will be fierce at the 1/4-mile dirt oval nestled within Turn 3 of the iconic 2.5-mile oval track.
Jerry Petty, the dynamic CEO of Avanti, is no stranger to the USAC racing scene. Not only does he own teams within the USAC AMSOIL National Sprint Car and USAC Western States Midget series, but Avanti also proudly sponsors these series alongside the Corn Belt Clash, staged at Knoxville Raceway in Iowa.
In addition to backing the event, Petty is gearing up to enter two highly competitive racers: Drake Edwards and four-time USAC national champion, J.J. Yeley. "Being the presenting sponsor for USAC's premier midget race is truly exciting," shared Petty. "I’m driven by a passion for dirt track and open-wheel racing, and this is an excellent way to contribute."
Petty’s engagement with the Driven2SaveLives BC39 was catalyzed by “Chasing 200,” a FloSports documentary recounting the life of Bryan Clauson, the event's namesake. Moved by Clauson’s story, Petty felt compelled to support the race that honors the late USAC champion and engages with the important cause of organ donation through the Indiana Donor Network Driven2SaveLives initiative.
Tickets for the event are available for purchase, promising fans a spectacle filled with speed, skill, and drama. The competition heats up with full racing programs on September 26 and 27, culminating in a 39-lap feature finale on September 28. This year's Driven2SaveLives BC39 is a must-attend for racing and those keen to witness the legacy of Bryan Clauson. It also increases awareness of organ donation and encourages participation in the Indiana Donor Network Driven2SaveLives program, the title sponsor since the inaugural running in 2018.
