NASCAR's Brickyard Weekend is scheduled for July 19-21, 2021, and will feature three days of on-track action for fans. Qualifying sessions for both races will be held on Saturday, July 20, followed by the Pennzoil 250, presented by Advance Auto Parts at 3:30 p.m. ET. The Brickyard 400, presented by PPG, will start at 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, July 21
The return to the oval at Indianapolis Motor Speedway (IMS) marks the celebration of NASCAR's 30th anniversary at the Racing Capital of the World in 2024. The inaugural Brickyard 400 took place on August 6, 1994, making it the first race other than the Indianapolis 500 presented by Gainbridge to be held at IMS since 1916. From 1994 to 2020, the race was held on the 2.5-mile oval before shifting to the 14-turn, 2.439-mile road course over the last three years as part of a tripleheader weekend with the NTT INDYCAR SERIES.
Tickets for Friday's practice sessions are available for $25. However, if fans also purchase a ticket for Saturday or Sunday, a complimentary Friday ticket will be added to all orders upon checkout at IMS.com. Tickets for Saturday start at $35, with Sunday tickets for the Brickyard 400 presented by PPG starting at $40. Kids 15 and under are admitted free when accompanied by a General Admission adult ticketholder.
IMS President J. Douglas Boles said that as a thank you to fans who have tickets to Saturday's Pennzoil 250 presented by Advance Auto Parts or Sunday's Brickyard 400 presented by PPG, they can add Friday to their Brickyard Weekend plans for no additional cost. Fans who have previously purchased a Saturday or Sunday ticket for Brickyard Weekend will receive complimentary Friday ticket(s), which will be added to their IMS accounts.
